The Top 250 Dynasty Football Players, 2017 Season

The following is the final update to the #TDG250 before the season begins in just a few days. These rankings should represent a value list. There are groups of players clustered from the same positions for a reason. What the cluster is saying is that there is not a large difference between these players and that personal preference should be used when they are in clusters.

When using these rankings, you should also seriously consider your teams chances of contending. Having a plan for your team going into the season will help you make decisions like whether a player like Robert Turbin has any value to you beyond a handcuff, or whether or not it is worth holding onto Joe Williams as opposed to moving him for just about anything. Sometimes it takes brutal honesty when looking over your roster to determine whether you are a contender, a mid-level competitive team, or a total rebuild. Understanding this can help you make decisions such as who to add, drop, and trade. This helps you gain value by moving the assets who have less value to you than others, and acquiring the opposite.

So do you have a comment to share? Let me know in the comments below, on Twitter, or Facebook. I will be doing an AMA on r/fantasyfootball later this Labor Day morning. Stop by and ask away! I will put the direct link to the AMA in this post after I start it up so check back or if you are reading this later you can go read through.  (EDIT: Reddit AMA is live at 10:00 AM 9/4, link here:  REDDIT AMA)

As always, if you like what we are doing here at The Dynasty Guru, feel free to drop a donation our way. Now, the rankings:
